CRANS-SUR-SIERRE, Switzerland (AP) — Rory McIlroy shot a 2-under 69 Friday, leaving him in a four-way tie for the lead after two rounds at the European Masters.

The U.S. Open winner is at 8 under with Gary Boyd, Simon Dyson and Jamie Donaldson. McIlroy’s round was marked by an eagle-2 and double-bogey 7.

First-round leader Nick Dougherty ended his 21-tournament streak of failing to make the cut. He shot a 72 to put him one stroke back. Dougherty had not reached weekend play since the Singapore Open in November 2010.

Martin Kaymer, Jaco van Zyl and Danny Willett also trail the leaders by a shot. Lee Westwood is two strokes behind.
