Three people, including two from Clark County, were injured Saturday afternoon in a Lewis County collision.

According to a Washington State Patrol accident memo, Timothy R. Cook, 35, of Benton City was westbound on state Highway 12, approximately three miles west of Packwood, when he attempted to turn left into a driveway. His 2004 Dodge Ram truck was struck by a motorcycle driven by Christopher A. Shipp, 27, of Ridgefield. Shipp and passenger Samantha Cullinan, 21, of Vancouver, were ejected.

Both were wearing helmets.

Shipp and Cullinan were transported to Morton General Hospital. Shipp was listed as having chest and abdominal injuries, while Cullinan was listed as having a leg injury.

Cook’s 13-year-old son, who was wearing a seat belt, was also listed as injured.

Cook, who was also wearing a seat belt, was not injured. He was cited for failing to yield to oncoming traffic, and his truck sustained $5,000 of damage.
