DETROIT (AP) — The Chicago White Sox have activated right-hander Philip Humber from the disabled list and plan to start him in the first game of Monday’s doubleheader at Minnesota.

The move was made Saturday. Humber is 8-8 with a 3.63 ERA, but he hasn’t pitched since Aug. 18, when he was hit above the right eye by a line drive off the bat of Cleveland’s Kosuke Fukudome.

Humber allowed four runs and seven hits in five innings in a rehabilitation start for Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday.
