Prep football: King’s Way Christian 36, Sunnyside Christian 0

Quarterback Jay Becker rushed for 294 yards and passed for 220 yards leading King’s Way to a rout of Sunnyside Christian in Lyle.

Becker scored four touchdowns and passed to Carter Coval for a fifth score.

Becker and Coval also connected on two of King’s Way’s point-after conversions.

Becker, playing defensive end, topped King’s Way with 11 tackles. Defensive tackle Brad Benton had 10 tackles.

Next week: King’s Way Christian (1-0) idle.
