Bolt helps Jamaica win men’s 4×100 relay at worlds

DAEGU, South Korea (AP) — Usain Bolt powered home to help Jamaica set a world record of 37.04 seconds in men’s 4×100-meter relay Sunday at the world championships.

Nesta Carter led off the relay and handed to Michael Frater. Yohan Blake, the 100 world champion following the disqualification of Bolt in the final, ran the third leg and handed to Bolt.

France finished second in 38.20 and Saint Kitts and Nevis took bronze in 38.49.

The United States did not finish.
