Climber falls near Snoqualmie Pass

SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. (AP) — Rescue crews are trying to reach a climber who was seriously injured after falling at Kaleetan Peak near Snoqualmie Pass.

King County sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. John Urquhart says authorities received a call around 10 a.m. that a male climber fell at least 100 feet. Other members of his party are with him.

No other information was immediately available.
