ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Police in Greece say a 21-year-old man has been stabbed to death during an overnight clash between rival soccer fans on the island of Crete.

Two other youths, aged 19 and 21, were hospitalized with stab wounds that are not life-threatening.

Police say the clashes involved at least 30 people and occurred early Monday at the island’s main town of Iraklio between fans of Cretan top division club OFI and Irodotos, a small local team.

Four youths have been arrested in connection with the clashes and another two have been detained for questioning, according to a police statement.
