Assault charge in Metro bus stabbing

SEATTLE (AP) — A man charged with assault for a stabbing that followed a fight on a Metro bus in Seattle is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in King County Superior Court.

The 38-year-old man, Alphonse Hope, is accused of stabbing a man Aug. 21 after they left the bus. Hope also is accused of assaulting the victim’s mother on the bus.
