PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Flyers say general manager Paul Holmgren has been released from the hospital and is home following a bike crash Monday at the New Jersey shore.

The Flyers released no other information in Thursday’s statement. Holmgren was injured while riding his bike in Avalon, N.J. He was hospitalized that day.

Avalon police say Holmgren told officers he lost his balance while riding Monday morning and suffered a cut on his head and a scraped shin. No one else was involved in the accident.
