GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers rookie Randall Cobb has tied an NFL record with a 108-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night.

Cobb took the third-quarter kick and was hit around the Packers 23, where he spun, was able to keep his balance and took off again.

One Saints’ defender slipped on the play, but Courtney Roby, Leigh Torrence, Isa Abdul-Quddus and Korey Hall all had a hand on Cobb at one point.

Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson delivered a final block on Roman Harper for the score that made it 35-20.

Cobb’s return tied the record set by Ellis Hobbs, who returned a kick 108 yards for New England against the Jets in 2007.
