A trucker was taken to a hospital late Thursday morning after he rolled his rig while heading from state Highway 14 eastbound to Interstate 205 southbound, police said.
Abraham M. Peterson, 24, of Monroe was taken by AMR Northwest ambulance to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, treated and released later Thursday, a nursing supervisor said.
About 11:45 a.m., Peterson was driving a 2011 Volvo tractor towing a 2011 Wabash trailer when he took the curve too fast, according to a bulletin from the Washington State Patrol.
The load then shifted and the rig rolled over into a ditch.
Peterson was ticketed for driving too fast and failing to secure his load, the bulletin said.
