EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A Bellingham, Wash., man who fell to his death while hiking on Mount Pilchuck in Snohomish County has been identified.

Authorities say 29-year-old Don M. Grant was hiking with friends Tuesday when he left the group and disappeared. Investigators believe he fell off a 300-foot cliff.

His body was recovered by Snohomish County sheriff’s helicopter crews on the north side of the mountain.
