Campaign Trail: Zandamela schedules event

Zandamela schedules event: Battle Ground City Councilor Paul Zandamela will host a re-election campaign event, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Battle Ground Senior Center, 116 N.E. Third Ave.

“A call for fiscal responsibility & a call for jobs in Clark County,” the event will feature State Rep. Paul Harris, Clark County Commissioner Tom Mielke, Washougal City Councilor Jon Russell and US Digital CEO David Madore.

Battle Ground City Council candidates Shane A. Bowman and Philip L. Johnson, as well as Vancouver City Council candidates Josephine Wentzel and Cory Barnes, are also scheduled to participate.

The flier lists all of the things the officials and candidates oppose, including but not limited to: light rail, bridge tolls and “excessive government spending.”
