RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Kyle Busch took the lead from Carl Edwards during pit stops with just over 30 laps to go and won his eighth NASCAR Nationwide Series race of the season Friday night at Richmond International Raceway.

Busch’s victory was his 51st in the series, the most in history, and came in a race he and Edwards dominated.

The two Sprint Cup Series regulars have won 14 of the 27 races in the series this year.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished third and padded his points lead over Elliott Sadler to 16 with seven races remaining.

Danica Patrick, making her eighth start of the season, finished 18th. She clipped Brad Keselowski while passing him on the inside, sending Keselowski into the wall.

Keselowski, the pole-sitter, finished 19th.
