EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — B.J. Cunningham has become Michigan State’s career leader in receptions following his first grab on the 17th-ranked Spartans’ first drive against Florida Atlantic.

Cunningham broke a tie with Matt Trannon when he made his 149th career reception Saturday. It was no easy catch, either. Cunningham stumbled and fell on his back just as the pass was arriving from Kirk Cousins. He juggled the ball, then vanished underneath a pile of players, but the catch stood for a 7-yard gain.

Cunningham added his 150th reception later in the drive.
