HILVERSUM, Netherlands (AP) — England’s Simon Dyson had a final-round 66 Sunday to win his third KLM Open crown in six years.
Dyson, who began the day two shots behind co-third round leaders Gary Orr and James Kingston, birdied four of the last seven holes to clinch his second title of the year.
England’s David Lynn finished a stroke behind.
U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy was third with a 65. Second-ranked Lee Westwood shot a 66 to finish fifth.
South Africa’s Kingston was sixth after bogeying three of the first nine holes to finish with a 73.
Dyson, who won the Irish Open in July, says his latest victory in the KLM Open is “something special. A dream come true, really.”
