Man dies in tractor accident on family farm

LEBANON, Ore. (AP) — An 88-year-old Lebanon-area man is dead following a tractor accident on his family farm.

Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller says the man was fatally injured Saturday afternoon.

He says Robert Fred Meyer was using a tractor to clear brush when it rolled over as it went down a 15-foot embankment and pinned him underneath.

Mueller says in a news release that Meyer was found later my members of his family who called authorities.
