Janikowski ties NFL record with 63-yard field goal

DENVER (AP) — Sebastian Janikowski tied an NFL record with a 63-yard field goal at the end of the first half in Oakland’s opener at Denver on Monday night.

Janikowski’s kick cleared the crossbar as the second quarter expired, giving the Raiders a 16-3 lead.

That tied the longest field goal in NFL history.
