SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — West Valley City police are again searching in rugged desert terrain for signs of a Utah mother missing since 2009.

A police spokesman says a team of investigators was near central Utah’s Topaz Mountain on Tuesday. That’s near Delta, about 135 miles southwest of where Susan Cox Powell was last seen at her home.

Powell was a 28-year-old mother of two when she was reported missing in December 2009.

Police have made no arrests in the case. Susan Powell’s husband, Josh Powell, is the only person of interest in the case.

Investigators last month searched the mountains near Ely, Nev., for clues in the case.

Police won’t say what specifically they are looking for. Officers are expected to be in the area for more than a day.
