OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Although the end of the NFL lockout put Terrell Suggs’ movie-making career on hold, the Baltimore Ravens linebacker is a smash hit at what he does best: Chasing quarterbacks.
He is the Ravens’ career sack leader and reigning AFC defensive player of the week after his performance against Pittsburgh. Suggs collared Ben Roethlisberger three times Sunday and forced two fumbles in a 35-7 victory.
Suggs loves movies. He has dozens of DVDs in his locker and is a serious filmmaker. He even has his own production company, Team Sizzle Worldwide, which has produced three short films.
When he retires, the 28-year-old Suggs might consider making a major motion picture. For now, however, his focus is on making life miserable for opposing quarterbacks.
Next up is Tennessee’s Matt Hasselbeck on Sunday.
