An Oregon man died early Wednesday in a wrong-way, single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near Woodland, officials say.

Jesse Finch, 25, of Molalla, Ore., was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry northbound in the southbound lanes of I-5 just before 3 a.m. when the car left the road, struck a guard rail and caught fire, a Washington State Patrol bulletin said.

Finch was found dead inside the burned vehicle, state patrol said. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved.
