Buddle scores 2 as Ingolstadt beats Dresden 4-2

INGOLSTADT, Germany (AP) — Edson Buddle scored twice to lead Ingolstadt over Dynamo Dresen 4-2 Friday night in the German second division.

The American forward built a 2-0 lead with goals in the third and 45th minutes, both on headers off corner kicks.

Signed after leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of 2010, Buddle has three goals for Ingolstadt this season, one more than his total for the German club in the second half of last season.

Also Friday, Martin Harnik scored in each half to give Stuttgart a 2-1 win at Freiburg in a scrappy southwestern derby in the Bundesliga. Papiss Demba Cisse scored in the 85th for Freiburg,
