PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police in Forest Grove, Ore., have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with a Saturday night shooting that left one boy dead and a girl injured.
Capt. Mike Herb says Cody J. Ward was taken into custody Saturday. He was booked into the Washington County Jail. He is set to be arraigned Monday.
The Oregonian says (http://bit.ly/mQWqNc ) police responding to a report of a shooting in the city west of Portland found one boy dead from a gunshot wound. The girl was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The names and ages of the children have not been released.
