The city of Vancouver will have an open house and dedication from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at its new City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St.

Meet historic Vancouver characters played by colorful re-enactors.

CVTV will film “I am Vancouver” interviews of local residents.

The City Hall dedication will be at 12:30 p.m., when Mayor Tim Leavitt, city council members and City Manager Eric Holmes will “unlock” City Hall with the key to the city.

Vancouver Parks and Recreation will offer zumba on the patio every half hour from 1 to 3 p.m.

Kids ages 8 to 12 can join the Junior City Council, acting as mayor or council members on the council dais.

At 2 p.m., 40-minute historic downtown walking tours will depart from new City Hall, guided by Clark County Historical Society experts. Visit five historic City Hall sites from Vancouver’s 154 years.
