TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida State quarterback EJ Manuel’s injured left shoulder is being evaluated by a specialist.

Manuel hurt his nonthrowing shoulder in the third quarter of the Seminoles’ 23-13 loss Saturday night to top-ranked Oklahoma.

Coach Jimbo Fisher has said it could be anywhere from a day to two weeks before Manuel can play again. The situation should be clearer after Manuel sees the specialist Monday.

The 11th-ranked Seminoles (2-1) play at No. 21 Clemson (3-0) Saturday in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener for both schools. The winner gets an early leg up in the race for the ACC’s Atlantic Division title and spot in the league’s December championship game in Charlotte, N.C.
