Clark County residents can celebrate National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month this week at the 10th annual Community Recovery Forum.

Clark County’s Substance Abuse Advisory Board is hosting the event from 4:45 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday at Lord’s Gym, 2410 Grand Ave. Snacks will be served from 4:45 to 5:50 p.m., forum events commence at 5:50 p.m. and resource exhibits will be available throughout the evening.

Highlights of this year’s event include Lewis & Clark Young Marines, guest speakers, youth digital storytelling, musical entertainment, lifetime achievement and appreciation plaques, scavenger hunt, kids art/activity table, resource tables and raffle prizes.

The event celebrates Clark County residents who have been affected by addiction and have taken steps toward long-term recovery.

This year’s theme of National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month is “Join the Voices for Recovery: Recovery Benefits Everyone.”
