Community Ed offers kindergarten enhancement

Washougal Community Education and Recreation is offering a new, 2-day a week, fee-based program for kindergarten students. It will provide them with additional grade level activities which support school curriculum.

Limited bussing is available. The fee is planned for approximately $25 per day, per student.

Currently, the Washougal School District offers an all-day, every other day kindergarten program.

CEF annual auction set

The Camas Educational Foundation’s 13th annual auction will be held at the Fairgate Inn on Saturday, Oct. 15.

This year’s format is more casual than in past years, and the registration fee has been reduced to $42 per person.

The theme is “Let’s Do Amazing. Together.”

Attendees at the silent and live auction events will enjoy buffet style hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Childcare is available for the first 100 to sign up.

Register online at www.cefcamas.org. Those who do not attend may purchase one of 500 raffle tickets for “Denim and Diamonds,” package.
