Nine area groups to split more than $48,700 in grants

Esther Short — The Vancouver Rotary Foundation awarded more than $48,700 in grants to nine community organizations Sept. 14 at a luncheon at the Red Lion Hotel at the Quay. Recipients were Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation, $2,000; RiteCare of Washington, $2,195; Affordable Community Environments, $2,500; Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation, $3,000; Community Services Northwest, $6,000; Children’s Center, $6,288; Vancouver School District Foundation, $6,800; YWCA Clark County, $10,000; Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington, $10,000.
