RIDDLE, Ore. (AP) — Searchers say they have turned up no trace of a Portland man who vanished over the weekend from an encampment of the Cycle Oregon bicycle tour.

The Oregonian (http://bit.ly/odbPJ7 ) says friends, family and volunteers plan to return to the Riddle area in Douglas County Wednesday to look for 54-year-old Mark Bosworth, last seen late Friday.

Douglas County authorities pressed the major crimes team into service on Monday because they needed more people in the search. The sheriff’s office told the Roseburg News-Review (http://bit.ly/q2lRej) it has no indication of foul play.

Searchers used a helicopter, boats and all-terrain vehicles. They looked into a tip that a man matching Bosworth’s description was seen hitchhiking.

In the town south of Roseburg, Bosworth’s picture was posted in nearly every storefront, under the headline “Missing.”
