Boy, 2, injured in accidental Ore. shooting

DALLAS, Ore. (AP) — Police in the Willamette Valley community of Dallas, Ore., say a 2-year-old boy was accidentally shot Friday night.

Deputy Chief Tom Simpson says the boy and another child got access to a gun that accidentally discharged. The boy was airlifted to a Portland hospital, where he’s reported in serious condition.

The case is under investigation.
