Letter: Campaigns agree on one thing

In the last week or so, the Craig Riley campaign has had five four-foot by eight-foot campaign signs and multiple yard signs vandalized by people who are obviously not our friends. I wish to thank my opponent in the 49th Legislative District race for her timely comments on Facebook.

She stated, “I think this kind of behavior is unfortunate and completely unacceptable, and I call on those responsible for this to stop.”

She has echoed my sentiments perfectly. Vandalism is not condoned by my campaign, nor by the Clark County Republican Party.

I know we differ on many of the issues, but I’m confident we can continue on with a spirit of civility between us and our campaigns.
