CHICAGO (AP) — White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen met with owner Jerry Reinsdorf on Monday to discuss his future with the team. No decision was made on whether he will return in 2012.

Guillen says he met with Reinsdorf for about 30 minutes. The manager says he made it clear that he would like to come back, but only for a contract extension for more money.

Guillen is hopeful his situation will be resolved before he departs for vacation in Spain after Chicago’s season ends on Wednesday.

Guillen led the White Sox to the World Series title in 2005, their first since 1917.
