TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — The father-in-law of missing Utah mom Susan Cox Powell remains jailed Monday in Tacoma where he was booked Thursday night for investigation of voyeurism and possessing child pornography.
Bail for Steven Powell is set at $200,000.
He pleaded not guilty Friday in Pierce County Superior Court. Authorities accuse him of videotaping children and women, including his daughter-in-law Susan Powell, without their knowledge.
Steven Powell’s son, Josh Powell, has been living with him at his home in Puyallup. Police say Josh Powell is a person of interest in the 2009 disappearance of his wife.
A search of the home in August turned up the video.
