Arkansas searching for identity following loss

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino is evaluating everything this week following a 38-14 loss to Alabama.

The No. 18 Razorbacks (3-1) gained only 226 yards against the No. 3 Crimson Tide, leaving Petrino searching for answers as Arkansas prepares to face No. 14 Texas A&M (2-1) in Dallas on Saturday.

Petrino says Arkansas hasn’t established an offensive identity this season through four games. The Razorbacks ran for just 17 yards on 19 attempts against Alabama, and quarterback Tyler Wilson was harassed throughout by the Southeastern Conference’s top defense.

Petrino says the Razorbacks will look at personnel changes and play-calling as they prepare for the Aggies, who are also coming off their first defeat of the season — a 30-29 loss to No. 5 Oklahoma State.
