Letter: McEnerny-Ogle works for Vancouver

The Columbian
Published: September 25, 2011, 5:00pm

Anne McEnerny-Ogle, candidate for city council, may not be a familiar name to most Vancouver residents, but she’s not a true newcomer.

She has met with leaders of our neighborhoods and spent hours with the traffic safety group even after that panel’s funds — for speed bumps, handicap sidewalk ramps and school walking paths — were diverted by the council to benefit the waterfront. She worked many hours to bring the series of unbiased light-rail forums to the community after the council avoided those meetings.

Anne McEnerny-Ogle is far from a newcomer.
