7 more reassigned by Blue Jackets

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have trimmed their roster by seven players and now have 33 players left on the active training-camp roster.

Defenseman Cody Goloubef and goaltender Allen York were assigned to Columbus’s American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Mass., while forwards Cody Bass, Dane Byers, Nick Drazenovic and Andrew Joudrey were placed on waivers for the purposes of being assigned to Springfield. In addition, goaltender Paul Dainton was released from his tryout contract. He still has an AHL contract with Springfield.
