Wounded Lincoln City police officer back on job

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. (AP) — A Lincoln City police officer who was wounded in January has been cleared to return to work.

KGW reports (http://bit.ly/pEQ08l) police and other city employees greeted Officer Steven Dodds this week at City Hall for his first day back on the job.

Dodds was shot multiple times and critically wounded during a January traffic stop.

The suspect, David Durham, fled and is still at large.
