Police: Auburn woman stabbed; husband arrested

AUBURN, Wash. (AP) — Auburn police say a 67-year-old woman was found walking city streets covered in blood from stab wounds and officers later arrested her 78-year-old husband.

The woman is in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center.

Police say she was found a by a person driving by on the street. The driver took the woman and put her on the pickup truck’s bed, transported her to a nearby home and called 911.

Police say they are investigating and have limited information on the couple.
