VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — Clark County sheriff’s deputies made a grisly find after someone reported seeing masses of flies inside the windows of a van parked in front of a Vancouver-area apartment complex.
Sgt. Craig Randall says deputies found the decomposed body of a man Monday inside the van. Randall says it’s believed the man had been living in the vehicle.
Officers say they believe the van had been parked there for several weeks.
The body was not immediately identified. The county medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
