ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Olympiakos has won its 39th Greek league title after being officially awarded a victory in a March 18 match that was interrupted by fan violence.

A disciplinary panel on Wednesday gave Olympiakos the win and subtracted three points from main rival Panathinaikos for the involvement of its fans in the rioting at Athens Olympic stadium.

The decision gives Olympiakos 67 points from 27 matches with three rounds remaining, while second-place Panathinaikos was left with 57.

Olympiakos on Wednesday also qualified for Greek Cup Final, holding OFI 0-0 for a 1-0 aggregate win. It faces Atromitos in the final next month.
