SAN ANTONIO (AP) — New Orleans point guard Jarrett Jack was ruled out of the Hornets’ game against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night because of a right foot sprain.

It’s the second straight game that Jack, who averages 15.6 points and 6.3 assists, will miss.

Hornets coach Monty Williams says he thinks “it’s one of those things that may take some time to heal.”

Greivis Vasquez will start in Jack’s place. Vasquez had 11 points and 10 assists while starting for Jack against Denver on Wednesday.
