YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Two people are dead and three are injured after their car went out of control and rolled over in Yakima County.

The Washington State Patrol says the single-vehicle crash occurred Sunday afternoon on Glade Road just south of Mabton.

A statement says that as the 2005 Jeep began veering off the road, the driver overcorrected and the vehicle rolled.

Police say 24-year-old Maximo Ocampo and 23-year-old Luis A. Marcialsantana of Seatac died at the scene. Three other occupants were hospitalized, but no conditions were disclosed.

The statement didn’t clarify who was driving.
