Choi wins DAR Good Citizen essay award

Washougal High School student David Choi won the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award for his essay on American history.

He was presented with the award by Evelyn Campbell, Regent of the Fort Vancouver Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Choi, a senior at Washougal High School, was recognized at the March meeting of the Fort Vancouver chapter, where he read his essay and received a certificate and the Good Citizen pin.

Choi’s other honors include Washington Aerospace Scholar graduate, Camas/Washougal Rotary Scholastic Achievement Award for the year, Science Academic Hall of Fame, Social Studies Academic All Star Award, Clark County Youth Achievement Award for Inspiration and Advanced Placement scholar with honors.
