Registration is now open for the 10th annual NAMI Northwest Walk in Portland.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Oregon, which represents Oregon and Southwest Washington, hopes to register 2,500 walkers and raise $200,000 from the 5K event. All proceeds from the walk will benefit the organization’s education, support and advocacy programs.

The event begins at noon on May 20 at Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade at Southeast Main Street and Southeast Water Avenue. The walk starts at 1 p.m.
