Ridgefield School District sets child development screenings for April 26

Children ages 3 to 5 who have not entered kindergarten and are residents in Ridgefield School District can receive child development screenings on Thursday, April 26.

Children will be screened in speech and language, and cognitive and motor development. Appointments are required. Results are confidential and are discussed with parents after the screening. If a family is living in a temporary situation, they may contact the district where they are staying to attend a screening.

Parents should call 360-750-7500, ext. 242, for pre-screening information. Ridgefield School District and Educational Service District 112 are sponsors.
