EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — The 55-year-old daughter of a Eugene-area couple has reported finding them dead, and Lane County deputies say both were shot.
The Eugene Register-Guard reported Monday (http://bit.ly/IyIgzp ) that the authorities didn’t release many details of the shootings. But they did say they don’t believe anybody other than the couple was involved.
The family members were not immediately identified. The sheriff’s office says the daughter was concerned that her parents hadn’t been seen for a few days and went to their home Sunday in the Santa Clara neighborhood.
