GRAYS HARBOR, Wash. (AP) — The Coast Guard is responding to a 400-by-100-foot sheen in Grays Harbor.

The Coast Guard says it was notified on Sunday evening about the problem but couldn’t locate the sheen until daylight Monday. They are working to clean it up with absorbent pads.

The source of the spill has been identified as a boat moored at the Westport Marina.

The Coast Guard and the Washington State Department of Ecology are monitoring the cleanup and investigating the cause of the spill.
