LONDON (AP) — Audio commentary from every English Premier League match will be broadcast globally for the first time from next season.
British radio station Talk Sport announced Tuesday that it has signed a four-season deal with the league to broadcast the commentary from all 380 matches outside Europe via the Internet and mobile applications.
The station says it plans to sell the rights to radio partners in Asia, North America and Africa. The commentary will be available in several languages, including Spanish and Mandarin.
Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore says “radio rights are important to ensuring that as many fans as possible can follow the league and their club.”
