MONTESANO, Wash. (AP) — A judge has ordered a mental evaluation for a man accused of shooting and stabbing a sheriff’s deputy and stabbing a judge last month at the Grays Harbor County courthouse.
KOMO TV reports (http://is.gd/SgQF2Q) the exam was ordered Wednesday at the request of Steven Kravetz’s defense lawyer.
The 34-year-old McCleary man has been charged with attempted murder and assault in the March 9 attack.
Deputy Polly Davin returned to work last week. Superior Court Judge David Edwards suffered minor wounds and returned to work March 12.
