BROTHERS, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon State Police say a small amount of the 46,000 gallons of liquid fertilizer spilled from a wrecked rig southeast of Bend in Central Oregon.

The police say a truck pulling a tanker-trailer Wednesday night near Brothers drifted onto a gravel shoulder of U.S. 20 and rolled.

The driver was 54-year-old Glen Mitchell of Bastrop, La. He was unhurt. The police say he was cited for failing to maintain a lane.

Hazardous materials workers responded and found little of the fertilizer leaked from the damaged trailer.
